Corked

Inspired by traditional ‘Frog Mugs’, Corked features a ceramic cork bark form in the centre. As the drink drains, the structure is revealed. The cups functionality draws on the tradition of drinking games, evoking surprise and humour during the drinking experience.

The handleless form allows users to hold the vessel with both hands; users are therefore encouraged to connect with the shape of the cup when gripping the vessel tightly. The predetermined thickness of the cup walls prevents the cup from becoming too warm, while the earthenware ceramic provides effective heat retention.
