ellery fitz was founded by me, Elise Fisher, a food designer who explores the relationship between food, product and user. My work is driven by the desire to encourage a playful relationship with food, resulting in everyday eating experiences that are engaging, interactive and most importantly, fun. 

My interest in food design stemmed from research undertaken while completing my Masters in Design at UWE (University of the West of England). I take inspiration from food, design and my background in hospitality, to create multidisciplinary products that encourage individuals to really think about food and how they eat it. I now work from my studio in Shropshire and enjoy working with varied materials throughout my practice; actively avoiding restricting myself to a particular product focus. While all of my enquiries have some relationship with food or eating, I enjoy demonstrating how varied the convergence of food and design can be.
